Israeli forces, on Monday, demolished a Palestinian-owned house in the town of al-Khader, south of the occupied West Bank city of Bethlehem, under the pretext it was built without a permit, the Palestinian News and Info Agency (WAFA) reported.
Hasan Breijieh, from the anti-wall, anti-settlement committee in Bethlehem, said that a large unit of Israeli forces, accompanied by military bulldozers, invaded the town and proceeded to demolish the 120-square meter house owned by Sameeh Salah, where he and other family members lived.
Salah stated that he had registration deeds proving ownership of the land, and that he had applied for a building permit, still, the Israeli authorities proceeded to demolish the house.
Israel demolishes Palestinian property on a regular basis, as a matter of policy, forcing the displacement of the native population, a crime against humanity as stated in the the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court.
